China Grand Prix, Date TBC

The Shanghai International Circuit is a race circuit for the new millennium. The modern racetrack and stunning architecture is set to provide China’s gateway to the world of racing. The 5.4 kilometre racing track is shaped like the Chinese character ‘Shang’, which stands for ‘high’ or ‘above’. Other symbols represented in the architecture originate from Chinese history, such as the team buildings arranged like pavilions in a lake to resemble the ancient Yutan-Garden in Shanghai. Here, nature and technology are carefully used to create harmony between the elements.

The Main Grandstand with 29,500 seats presents a spectacular view of almost 80 percent of the track - one of the new features in race track design realised in Shanghai.

Bahrain Grand Prix, 13th - 16th April 2007

Bahrain circuit

The circuit is a stunning oasis set in the midst of the desert. It combines the most modern technology with a clever use of traditional features. For example. The control tower resembles an old fort, while on top of the grandstands, wind towers grace the skyline.

One of the word’s most thrilling events – Formula 1 is in Bahrain again on 1, 2, 3 April 205. During the upcoming Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2005, the world’s most advanced Formula 1 track will put the world’s most powerful cars to the test. The world’s fastest drivers will challenge the elements of the Sakhir desert for three days. And thousands of people from all walks of life will come to celebrate an achievement that symbolizes Arabian Drive.

Japan Grand Prix, 20th-22nd October 2007

The Sepang circuit, which lies just south of Malaysia’s capital city Kuala Lumpur, is the very definition of a modern grand prix track. The 3.444 miles of winding asphalt is blessed with a backdrop of palm trees and an enormous grandstand whose focal point is a sprouting canopy resembling a flowering hibiscus plant. With long, wide straights plunging almost immediately into slow, tight corners, the track has been designed with one thing in mind – that most hallowed of Formula One manoeuvres, overtaking. With the race being run early in the season, Malaysia’s tropical weather can often play a part, making this race both scintillating and unpredictable.

Jappan, Suzuka F1 Circuit

Malaysia Grand Prix, 6th-8th *CHECK_THIS* April 2007

Built by Honda as a motorbike test track in 1962, Suzuka is the centrepiece of an enormous theme park. The first grand prix was held here in 1987 and since then the circuit has seen some nail-biting season finales. One of very few ‘figure-of-eight’ tracks in existence, Suzuka is a huge challenge. It is incredibly fast and highly technical, with almost relentless challenges facing both car and driver. Possibly the greatest challenge of all is the fabled 130 R corner which, after Eau Rouge at Spa Franco champs, is one of the best corners F1 has ever known. If you listen carefully you can hear some drivers take this one flat out. It’s an awesome track!
